Trail Drive | Ride with Us

Perfect for the newly curious or beginners who want to first experience trail driving as a passenger.

With this half-day experience you ride along as a passenger with MOventure Outfitters Founder & Owner/Operator Dan Moyers in his rig "Big Mo" which is a super comfortable and capable 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 AT4X truck.

This experience provides

• Real-world trail driving feel and visuals
• Safe responsible trail driving fundamentals and "trail rules"
• Feel for the impact of tire pressure air down and how to 
• Super fun ride across a nice variety of trail terrain
• Gorgeous views and a fun, unique half-day adventure

Full Experience rundown

• Meet at 10am at west end of trail off highway 72 here
• 5 hours including return drop-off
  
  • 30 minute pre-ride chat and tire pressure air down
  • 3 hour trail drive including 30 minute lunch
  • 30 minute post-ride chat and tire pressure air up

Trail details

• This experience takes place on the Switzerland trail which is an easy to moderate green rated 14-mile trail located in the Roosevelt National Forest west of Boulder that's perfect for beginners and intermediates.
  • This trail has NO MAJOR OBSTACLES such as big rocks, ledges or drop-offs to navigate which makes for a fun "pucker free" free experience and is why its our goto trail for our Trail Drive Foundations experience.  

What to bring and expect 

Just bring an adventuring plus learning mindset, your own packed lunch, and wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear for the weather/season as we'll be in and out of the rig a few times and outside for lunch.

You can expect a fun day with easy going conversation and learnings mixed in along the way, all designed to build your confidence and capability through a memorable experience.
